ProCorr Display & Packaging (a division of TriState Container) is excited to make its mark in digital production.
ProCorr is an independently owned third-generation manufacturer located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
For decades, we’ve provided a wide variety of corrugated and design solutions for our clientele, locally and nationwide. In the last year, we searched for ways to to deliver flexible and sustainable packaging in the corrugated industry. In the new year, we hope and with the leading digital producer Xeikon.
IDERA is an industrial, single-pass printing on corrugated board producing high-quality displays while remaining environmentally conscious. The IDERA printer press designed by Xeikon, provides speed, flexibility, and agility to corrugated converters. This printer can deliver new customer opportunities and internal productivity gains to the converter.
How does this happen? We’ll tell you. IDERA prints on coated and uncoated corrugated sheets. This enables variable printing speeds between 196ft/min and 393ft/min flexibility in-line priming varnishing, drying, and peripherals such as automatic pre-feeding and stacking.
Allen Friedman, President of ProCorr Display & Packaging, commented, “As an independent company, we are always looking to create greater value for our customers while building a competitive advantage for ourselves. We believe the IDERA digital press positions Procorr to achieve both.”
Friedman continues to share, “We’ve kicked off a long-term partnership with Xeikon. I believe they’re one of the few providers with the competencies, resources, and approach to succeed in the digital corrugated box market.”
After seeing a single-pass digital press in a corrugated converting operation years ago, Friedman envisioned this direction for his company. He believes this as a perfect fit for our customers (old and new) with emerging or proliferating brands.
These types of jobs may be too small for flexo runs and too large for multi-pass. In the past, these brands were afraid of the behavior time and costs when they wanted to improve print quality or make a design step change. Many have indicated a desire to change their order behavior. Friedman concludes, “We’re looking forward to promoting IDERA’s high print quality to our customers and being able to print short and long runs with all the benefits of a digital print-on-demand solution, including reduced waste.
ProCorr continues to search for new ways to remain innovative while putting our customers first. Check back for updates on company news, and remember, sharing is caring.
